Intermediate English courses in Nova Scotia

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is for students who want to attend university in Canada. The courses will develop students’ all-round English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

This course is designed for those that want to study English for a short time in a native-speaking environment and are not interested in attending an English-speaking university. The course will focus on learning English in an integrated skills class in your morning classes.

This 8-week course is designed to help students prepare for study at a university/college where courses are taught in English. Students will develop and strengthen language skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary.

Build your general English proficiency for everyday use with a focus on communication skills in an engaging and supportive learning environment. Each morning, you will participate in interactive classes and engage in lively discussions, collaborative activities, and various language exercises that develop your English language foundation.

Build your English proficiency by focusing on key skills to further your language development in specific subject areas, improving your confidence. Afternoon 20 consists of elective lessons only and range from topics including English for business, confident speaking, exam skills, customer service, IELTS preparation, or another specialised topic.
