Intermediate English courses in Killarney

The Standard Course is available to adults (18 +), teenagers (13-17) and to small children (3-12) Each course is designed specifically to suit the required age group. All courses cover the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with a specific emphasis on improving oral communication.

The Adult Intensive Course is designed for those students that wish to make a big improvement in their level of English over a short period of time. As with the Standard Course (GE1) all the four skills are covered with an emphasis on oral communication.

The English Plus Activities Course is designed for those students that wish to take part in a group class to improve their English but would also like to partake in the school’s interesting and varied activity programme. These programmes are adapted to suit two different age groups: This programme is not available for adults - teenagers - children (3-12)

The Intensive General English course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay in Killarney. The courses focus heavily on speaking and communication improvement: the morning consists of 3 lessons in communication skills, while the afternoon consists of 2 lessons in special topics.

The Junior English and Activity Programme at EGA International is specially designed for young learners aged 11 to 17 who want to improve their English while enjoying an unforgettable experience in Ireland. Students are placed into class groups according to their age, English level and learning ability.
