Our Intensive (30 lesson) and General (20 lesson) English courses help students improve all their skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and learn the grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge necessary for living in the UK and using English in an international context. We focus on practical, effective and natural communication and you will get at least five pieces of new language in each 45-minute class.
General English Main Course covers all skills and are well balanced between, speaking, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Topics are based on a course book and each week is a different topic.

This course includes Communication Skills, which gives you the opportunity to practise your speaking and listening, which will build your confidence in English.
Individual one-to-one classes focus exactly on your learner needs. In these classes, you have the teacher’s full attention and you can work on your specific needs or goals.
Our Communication Skills class gives you extra practice in speaking, listening and vocabulary. The lessons are designed to be enjoyable, useful and to build your communicative confidence.

Fees include tuition
(30 hours in Bristol - (age 13-17), 20 hours (age 7-12), 40 hours (Get ready for Medicine), accredited Be a leader programme, teaching materials, accommodation, food, laundry, insurance, airport transfers*, activities and trips.
*The transfer service only offered every two weeks (9th, 23rd of July and 6th and 20th August).
Our camp is based on the broad IGCSE/GCSE curriculum and covers a wide range of Academic Subjects including; English, Applied Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Humanities and Art. Students have up to 30 hours of inspiring learning per week between subject lessons, our Be a Leader programme and Elective choices.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the standard exam for those overseas students wishing to enter university in the UK. Our IELTS classes focus on exam technique and emphasise the linguistic skills you will need to be a success at university.

We prepare students for both General IELTS and Academic IELTS, the exam required by many universities and academic institutions worldwide.
In addition to General English morning classes, you have 8 IELTS classes in the afternoon + opportunities to take practice tests every week.
We prepare our English students for Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE and CPE (proficiency) exams*
In addition to General English classes in the morning, you have 10 Cambridge Exam classes in the afternoon.
These classes will help you to:
‒ Practise the different tasks you have to do for each part of the exam
‒ Learn personal strategies to do the task more effectively
‒ Organise your learning
Students will do a General English Main course in the mornings at the appropriate level (Monday to Friday for 20 lessons a week).
In the afternoons, students will have a volunteer placement for work experience.
