LSI Vancouver is located in the heart of the downtown district, on the first floor of a modern office tower. The Granville Entertainment District, found in Downtown Vancouver, is full of bars and clubs for the younger crowd and has plenty of venues offering live music. The school is conveniently located for bus, Seabus and Skytrain transportation links and the city’s main attractions. LSI offers comfortable classrooms, a computer lab with Internet access, a wide variety of self-study materials, and a common room for student use. English courses are structured so that each student improves all areas of their English including speaking, listening, reading, writing, and skills practice. The school's social calendar is full of excitement, including cultural activities (Vancouver Art Gallery and the UBC Museum of Anthropology), visits to parks (Lighthouse Park, Lynn Canyon, Queen Elizabeth Park), professional sports (NHL Canucks and CFL Lions), outings to pubs, restaurants, or picnic areas. Excursions to the city of Victoria, British Columbia’s capital, or the mountain resort of Whistler/Blackcomb are arranged every month. Summer activities include cycling, river rafting and hiking. LSI Vancouver is a smaller, caring school that has been welcoming students from around the world since 1993. We are located in the heart of downtown just minutes away from great shopping and restaurants. Our English for Juniors programme combines English tuition with a variety of fun activities and excursions. Course • 20 x 50 minute lessons per week • Elementary to Advanced levels • Morning or afternoon activities/weekend excursions • For students aged 13-17 years, full board accommodation provided in a twin room homestay • For 12 year olds, homestay accommodation only available when accompanied by guardian/parent in the homestay • Max. 16 students per class
