Are you interested in an English course that offers you some time for sightseeing in addition to comprehensive classroom work? A Semi-Intensive English course offers the balance to enjoy your destination and finish your course with a higher level of English. Semi-Intensive English Courses focus on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
The General English course consists of 20 lessons each week and is the least intensive option offered at Kaplan. This course allows students to improve their English while still leaving time for sightseeing and leisure during their stay.
The Intensive 35 course is the fastest way for students to improve their English skills, regardless of their starting level. The course consists of 20 lessons of general English, 7 lessons of structured study, and 8 lessons of elective English each week.
The Vacation English program at FLS is for students who prefer to combine their studies with plenty of time for sightseeing and relaxation. It offers coverage of fundamental English skills and free time to enjoy the many attractions near the U.
Our most popular program, the General English Program includes 24 lessons (20 hours) of instruction per week from qualified, native-speaking teachers.
Your teacher will work with you for the entire 24 lessons! Unlike other programs, our IEP does not count ‘lab hours’ or other independent study periods as lessons.
Student may select 1 section of classes in the Part-time Course.
Section A (9:00am-10:40am) is titled Grammar Structure & Usage and focuses not only on teaching students the rules for grammar usage, but also on giving students the opportunity to practice using grammar in both speaking and writing.
The Semi-Intensive English Course at ELC is designed to promote communicative competence in English
and consists of sections A and B. Section A is Grammar Structure and Usage and focuses on teaching students the rules for grammar usage.
