Intensive Plus is a course, from Monday to Friday, 9.15 am to 3.

The didactic methods used in Ciao Italia are the result of the director and teachers’ extensive experience in the field. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere encourages quick and easy learning of the language.

Our Super Intensive Group Course consists of: 4 lessons of Intensive Italian Language Course + 2 extra group lessons a day, for a total of 30 lessons per week. In the extra sessions students have the opportunity to increase their knowledge with practice in speaking and conversing in three levels of ability: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

This course consists of 20+ 10 small group lessons per week and adopts a fully communicative approach to the teaching of Italian. Language is never presented out of context; and grammar, phonology, lexis and all other features of actual language use in everyday situations are analyzed.

Combined Course: Group Course + Individual Tuition The combined course consist of 20 lessons/wk in a group + 10 lessons/wk individual Recommended for those students who want to both learn general Italian and concentrate on certain more specific personal language needs. A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.

It is the most effective way to make rapid progress: you live with your teacher who will give you private language lessons and correct you at all times spent with them. It completely immerses you in the language you are learning as you put into practice what you have learnt during your lessons through social interactions and meal time with your host.

LIFESTYLE PROGRAMME Stay with a host who is not necessarily a teacher but who wants to share his/her daily life and culture with you. An immersive experience for those who want to learn exclusively through practice without traditional “sit-down” lessons.

You have arranged your own accommodation and only require private language lessons. The lessons usually take place at the teacher’s home.

The “Firenze” Diploma Examination Course consists of 80 lessons of Intensive Italian Language Course (4 lessons per day/20 lessons per week) plus 40 lessons of examination preparation (2 lessons per day/10 lessons per week), for a total of 120 lessons in 4 weeks. This course prepares students for Italian University Entrance Examinations in the following faculties: Architecture, Engineering, Medicine, Veterinary Studies, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Fine Arts. These Examinations assess language competence, general knowledge and knowledge of the subjects and topics relevant to the Faculty chosen.

The Italian Language Professional Courses offered by Scuola Leonardo da Vinci consist of 4 lessons of Intensive Italian Language Course plus 2 private lessons (focused on specific topics of the chosen professional course) per week. The text books and materials used are provided by the school and included in the price of the course.
