Standard German Course: 20 lessons per week* Monday to Friday, 9:30AM - 1:00PM (or 2:30PM - 6:00PM in high season) The Standard Course offers speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in small groups of maximum 10 participants (12 in high season)

It's perfect for those looking for a balance between intensive learning in the morning and mostly free time in the afternoon - leaving you plenty of time to explore Bamberg and its surroundings and take part in our many activities.

Choose this course if you would like intensive group instruction in the morning but would also like to take advantage of individual training. Your course instructor can address your individual needs, questions and difficulties in the additional individual lessons per week.

Intensive German Course: 25 lessons per week* Monday to Friday, 9:30AM - 2:00PM (or 1:15PM - 6:00PM in high season) In the Intensive Course you will also develop the skills provided by our Standard Course with an additional special focus on communication. This intensive German course consists of 26 lessons per week for general language from 9:00-12:30 and two 3 unit lessons of conversation in the afternoon. The course is available throughout the year for German learners of all levels.

The Standard Course focuses on learning and actively using language structures – this way the instruction is very much practice oriented. But what does this actually mean? Your teacher will assign you an active role while studying German and will draw you and your fellow students directly into his interactive instruction.

Unlike the Standard Course, the Intensive Course also provides enough time to work on current topics from politics, culture and science. Hence, the 4 language skills listening, reading, speaking and writing will not only be trained based on a textbook but the teachers also use supplementary, specially selected materials.

You feel comfortable with your written German but less confident when it comes to your speaking skills? Then this course fits perfectly to train your oral fluency for daily use. In this course our qualified and highly motivated teachers put a specific focus on phonetics and oral fluency.

One-to-one course: one student, one teacher By getting individually taught by an experienced teacher students make the most of the time they have for a language course. The teacher will focus on the personal needs of the a student and will custom-tailor the lessons according to his or her necessities.
