Every level in the General English course has emphasis on speaking English with confidence, reading, listening, and writing. Beginner: learn the alphabet, numbers and vocabulary; the basic words you need to communicate in English and to share information.

General English Levels: Beginner – CEFRL A1: learn the alphabet, numbers and vocabulary; the basic words you need to communicate in English and to share information. Elementary – CEFRL A1-A2: Students already have some basic grammar skills, new grammar and survival English, increased reading skills and vocabulary to offer advice.

This course combines our Standard General English Course (20 lessons) and 5 one-to-one private lessons per week. The course is designed to improve students’ abilities to use language accurately and fluently while concentrating on the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing.

Individual tuition is offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. Each of our specialised courses is designed to meet the needs of particular specialist areas.

This course prepares students with the skills and strategies they need to make the transition to college and university. Students are encouraged to develop independence in a range of academic tasks.
