Advanced English courses in Australia

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.

You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to your level of ability with additional work on fluency and pronunciation. The General English program develops students’ English language communication skills with a focus on building confidence and fluency. Through a communicative approach, students practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a variety of ‘real life’ situations whilst integrating grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Courses to Match your Goals and Interests ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule.

The Winter Camp is held over 7 weeks during our Australian summer in January/February. Students can attend as little as 1 week, or as many as 7 weeks, and can choose to start at anytime.

This course is specially designed to help you improve your English whilst getting ready to take the IELTS exam. You will learn the vocabulary and language skills associated with the IELTS exam, as well as examination techniques specific to the IELTS exams.

Our Summer Camp is complementary to our Winter Camp, which is held in January/February. The Summer Camp is held over 10 weeks during our Australian summer in June/July/August.

This course is designed to help you improve your English and communicate with confidence in any situation. You will work on your accuracy and fluency across all the skills, whilst learning and using new vocabulary and grammar.
