Jordanian Colloquial Arabic (JCA) courses offer students an immersive study of the Jordanian dialect, which is used by locals for everyday interactions and conversation.
The Jordanian dialect is very similar to other Levantine dialects, which include those spoken in Lebanon and Syria, and is also closer to MSA than many other Arabic dialects, especially those used in northern Africa.
With the linguistic package, you will have 3 hours MSA + 2 hours JCA.
The MSA group course is divided into 8 levels and the number of students in each class will be limited to 10.
An description of a 'Combined 5' course is given below:
(1). Number of Hours : a total of 25 contact hours are offered every week : 20 hours with a group + 5 hours in a one-to-one setting.

This program provides students with the material needed to learn the classical Arabic, modern Arabic, and colloquial Arabic, and works on connecting them together through an organized and sequential approach that enables students to differentiate the different uses of them.
This programs follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2) which can be described as Beginner, intermediate, advanced levels.

Ahlan Jordan, in conjunction with Petra News Agency, is pleased to offer a 10-week intensive course in Arabic Journalism.
Students will be equipped with advanced journalistic and language skills to effectively navigate the increasingly important world of Arabic media.
Students interested in this course need to have already an upper intermediate level of Arabic to follow the classes.
Classes combine reading and listening and they will write a newspaper about Amman and cultural events with a journalist.
The higher-level media course builds upon the Media Taster course by increasing students’ insight. It provides an excellent opportunity to experience what it is like to be a journalist.
