ONE-WEEK SPANISH LANGUAGE INTENSIVE

Overview:
Penobscot Bay Language School (PBLS) is offering a one-week Spanish
Language Intensive program. This immersive experience is designed for
adult learners1 of all levels—from Low Intermediate to Upper Intermediate—who are
seeking to build practical language skills in a supportive, engaging environment.
Program Structure:
The intensive will run over five consecutive days, with flexible scheduling options to
accommodate a variety of participants:
● Morning Session: 9:00–11:00 AM
● Afternoon Session: 1:00–3:00 PM
● Evening Session: 5:00–7:00 PM
Participants may enroll in one or multiple sessions depending on their availability and
learning goals.
Course Offerings:
Courses will be organized by both proficiency level and thematic focus, ensuring that
students receive targeted instruction that meets their needs and interests. Offerings
may include:
● Travel Preparation Spanish: Essential vocabulary and conversational skills for
navigating Spanish-speaking countries
● College Preparation Spanish: Foundational grammar and communication skills
for students preparing for academic coursework
● Conversation Classes: Interactive speaking-focused sessions to build fluency
and confidence
● Reading and Comprehension Classes: Development of reading strategies and
vocabulary through authentic texts
Each class will be tailored to specific proficiency levels, ranging from Low Beginner to
Upper Intermediate.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue an I-20 to support an F-1 student visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a Visitor Visa (B1/B2) on your own.
