French language - Private Tutoring lessons:

Private tutoring lessons of 60 minutes are typically structured, focused sessions designed to make the most of a full hour of one-on-one learning. While the exact format can vary depending on the subject, student level, and tutor style, most sessions follow a clear and purposeful flow:

1. Warm-up and review (5–10 minutes)
The lesson usually begins with a quick check-in. The tutor may review homework, revisit key points from the previous session, or ask a few questions to gauge understanding. This helps reinforce learning and identify any gaps early.

2. Introduction of new material (15–20 minutes)
The tutor introduces a new concept or skill, explaining it step by step. This part is often interactive, with examples, demonstrations, or guided explanations tailored to the student’s pace and learning style.

3. Guided practice (15–20 minutes)
The student works through problems or tasks with the tutor’s support. The tutor provides prompts, hints, and feedback, helping the student apply what they’ve just learned while building confidence.

4. Independent practice (5–10 minutes)
If time allows, the student attempts a few questions or tasks more independently. This helps assess how well they’ve understood the material without immediate guidance.

5. Feedback and recap (5–10 minutes)
The session ends with a summary of key points, corrections of any mistakes, and clarification of doubts. The tutor may also give tips for improvement or strategies for studying.

6. Homework or next steps (optional)
Many tutors assign short practice tasks to reinforce learning between sessions, or outline what will be covered next time.

Lessons can be scheduled around the student's and teacher's availability and according to student's placement level test, which is tested prior to arrival.
