Course description

The Intensive TOEIC Preparation course is for students who want to maximize their English practice while preparing specifically for the TOEIC 4-Skills exam. The course focuses heavily on communication and test-taking skills: each week consists of five lessons dedicated to developing listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing accuracy, as well as the grammar and vocabulary required for the TOEIC. These lessons provide the opportunity to strengthen professional English while training for real TOEIC situations. The classes stress the use of English in everyday professional contexts. In part of the lessons, students work on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and reading comprehension, while in the remaining sessions they focus on speaking, listening, writing and TOEIC-specific exam strategies. Textbooks and a variety of other materials are used in instruction, including mock TOEIC tests, audio recordings, professional documents and digital resources. Students concentrate on essential TOEIC topics and skills such as business communication, workplace problem-solving, professional correspondence and the analysis of written and spoken information. Intermediate and advanced students also have the option of preparing specifically for the TOEIC certification, recognized internationally and CPF-eligible.
