English Camp in Switzerland for teenagers
Come and improve your English Skills in our beautiful lakeside chalet! Taking place in the picturesque setting of Schwarzsee, just across the lake from our French and German camp, our English camp offers you the chance to improve your English skills and a proactive and immersive environment.
From the teachers to the kitchen and cleaning staff, everyone who works in this camp speaks English either natively or fluently, and all workshops and activities outside of the classroom take place only in English!

Outside of the classroom, you'll get to explore the mountains, swim in the lake, sing around the campfire and much, much more - all in English, of course!

One of our flagship camp locations, Schwarzsee is situated in the Prealps of Fribourg and is the perfect place to go swimming and hiking on the same day. Schwarzsee lies on French-German linguistic border, making it the perfect place for a beneficial and action-packed language camp!

Boasting natural beauty, Schwarzsee is located 1,047 m above sea level in the midst of impressive mountains and an idyllic lake.

The hilly region of the Singine district is distinguished by its magnificent landscapes and cultural treasures of great diversity, making it the perfect language learning location.

The Schwarzsee campus was completely renovated in 2016 and offers modern furnished rooms, a large living room, and spacious classrooms.

Just next to the beautiful wooden architecture, a large sports complex invites you to let off some steam. In addition to an indoor gym, there are several beach volleyball, football, basketball courts, a climbing wall and a lawn for a variety of games and activities. You can also play table tennis, table football or billiards.

The pretty village of Schwarzsee is only a 10-minute walk from the campus. The lake is only 300m from the accommodation, so a jump in the cool, fresh water is not to be missed!

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
