Located in the canton of Glarus, offers an unforgettable and enriching experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Car-free and surrounded by spectacular alpine landscapes, forests, and panoramic views, Braunwald provides the perfect environment for young learners to combine language studies with fun-filled summer adventures in nature.
Each week, participants benefit from 15 hours of language lessons, taught in small groups of an average of six students and carefully organized by language level. Classes are interactive, practical, and communication-oriented, helping students build confidence and fluency while enjoying a motivating and supportive learning atmosphere.
After lessons, the camp comes alive with an exciting afternoon and evening program. Students take part in a wide variety of outdoor activities, sports, creative workshops, games, and excursions, making the most of Braunwald’s unique alpine setting. From hiking and team challenges to hands-on projects and local discoveries, every day offers new experiences under the supervision of qualified and attentive staff.
Participants stay in our accommodation with shared rooms and welcoming common areas that encourage social interaction and international friendships. The camp offers home-cooked full board, ensuring healthy, balanced meals throughout the stay.

Start your mornings with 15 hours per week of German or English lessons, taught in small, encouraging groups with motivated teachers who use fun, interactive methods like role-play, theatre, games and audiovisual tools. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced (A1 to C2 level), you’ll build communication skills and confidence while making new friends.
After class, enjoy a rich variety of afternoon activities including nature exploration, exciting workshops, and weekly excursions to some of the region’s best sights and attractions. From half-day adventures to full-day trips, every day brings something new and fun!
The camp is hosted at the cozy Adrenalin Backpacker Hostel, featuring spacious common areas, terraces, and games like table football and pool. After a home-cooked dinner, the evening programme keeps the fun going with themed nights, games, competitions, and social activities designed to connect campers from around the world.
Rooms range from dormitory-style with shared bathrooms to private single rooms — perfect for every comfort level. Full-board meals, 24/7 supervision, a transportation card and certificate of attendance are also included.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged Fr. 250 when you register.
