Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 40 when you register.

Ask a question

"To whom it may concern: Would like to contact you in connection with a state supported language programme from Hungary. Briefly the quintessence of the programme: from 2020 on each and every 9th and 11h grade secondary school school learner is eligible for a 2-week scholarship abroad to receive foreign language training. (The number of learners eligible is cca. 140000.) As an experienced EFL teacher (20+ years), international coordinator and school inspector, I would like to organize groups to attend 2-week summer courses. I would like to work as an agent. Would you be interested in cooperation, please be so assisting as to answer my inquiry at [email protected]. Thank you and best wishes, Beáta Szentiványi-Szeles"

Beáta Szentiványi-Szeles, student from Hungary
Emma Devine-Gay, Xplore school representative (Marketing Manager)

Dear Beáta,

Thank you for your question and please except my sincere apologies for not receiving a reply sooner. We have had some changes of personnel in our Head Office so unfortunately your message was missed.

We would be delighted to work with you and receive groups from you. Please may I ask what size group you are expecting to recruit for each 2-week course?

We accept both groups (10+ students) and individuals (can be 'groups' of less than 10 students) to all of our summer camp programmes, and cater for ages 8 to 17 - with different camps suitable for different ages.

I will send you an email detailing all of our summer camp programmes available in the UK - it will detail both GROSS prices for individuals and NET prices for groups (10+ students). We do not offer commission on NET prices for groups, instead agents are able to charge their own prices and we do not advertise these NET prices any where so agents can be assured they are getting a great offer. Commission is built into our GROSS price for individuals, which is usually around 15%.

I hope that helps with your enquiry, please feel free to email me on [email protected] should you have any questions - you should receive my email shortly.

Kind regards,
Emma
