Wigston is a town within Leicestershire, England. It is located just south of Leicester. During the Middle Ages, the town was referred to as Wigston Two Spires, a reference to the fact that there were two churches in the town. Students enrolled in English school in Wigston will find that the industries of framework knitting and hosiery manufacturing played an important part in the history of this town from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Be sure to visit the Framework Knitters Museum to view some of the original machines used in earlier times. The museum is privately owned and is generally open each Sunday and the first Saturday of each month, so be sure to check the hours when planning a visit. During their stay, students should be sure to visit the Bushloe House which was built and extended in the 1800s and now serves as the home to the Council Offices of the Oadby and Wigston Borough Council. Students taking English courses in Wigston should also be sure to explore neighboring Leicester. Leicester is home to a number of interesting museums of local, national and international importance. There are also a number of shopping and dining opportunities within Leicester, giving visitors options that are sure to suit every need. We are now offering an intensive English course with 27 hours of English classes per week, tailored to meet the requirements of each individual student. We also offer advanced English and IELTS preparation classes.

Each student will be accommodated in carefully selected families by the Local Organiser. Many of our families receive our students regularly every year and all are thoroughly inspected before being accepted.

The course is taught in cooperation with London Saracens, the current European and English Champions, in line with their Rugby philosophy
This programme gives students an opportunity to improve their rugby skills under the guidance of specialist Saracens rugby coaches.
The students will attend English lessons and evening activities with our other students, and do rugby training in the afternoons Monday to Thursday.
Samiad's exclusive English plus Horse-Riding Specialism programme is suitable for keen horse riders no matter what their experience level! Absolute beginners are also welcome. During afternoon sessions at a local stables students learn all aspects from grooming and tacking up to show jumping and countryside hacks.
Delivered by highly qualified LTA coaches, tennis sessions take place each afternoon and are designed to improve participant's skills in all aspects of the game! From positional play and footwork, to key techniques and playing the killer shot, our coaches work with children of all abilities and tailor the sessions to each specific level.
During the evenings students will enjoy our structured activity programme with our wonderful Activity Leaders.
