Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Montevideo. These homes are often around 30 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
The Montevideo school is located in the historic center of the city, a few steps from the most important cultural points. It is a unique building for the area since it was built in 1850 and restored years later, maintaining its original facade, but with a modern interior and fully equipped to teach Spanish with all the amenities. Between classes, you can go out onto the balcony and enjoy the views while you speak in Spanish with your classmates. Furthermore, when classes are over, many students go to the beach, only 3 minutes away, to take a walk, play sports or enjoy the sunset on the ocean.
