A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.

General English Courses will develop your core skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) so that you can speak English confidently and apply practical skills to communicate in a wide variety of everyday situations. CLC’s General English course has 5 levels from General Elementary to Advanced.

English for Academic Purposes course is for students from Intermediate to Advanced levels. The course focuses on a range of academic skills, with the goal of preparing students to successfully perform in a number of academic and professional contexts.

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.

It is the most effective way to make rapid progress: you live with your teacher who will give you private language lessons and correct you at all times spent with them. It completely immerses you in the language you are learning as you put into practice what you have learnt during your lessons through social interactions and meal time with your host.
