Prague Language Institute
Year-long English Language Course in Prague is designed for students planning to apply for English-language programs. The preparation program takes into account the entrance exam requirements of universities offering such programs in Prague. Upon completion, students have excellent chances of admission to bachelor's (e.g., Bachelor of International Business) and master's programs (e.g., International and Diplomatic Studies) in both public and private universities in Prague.
In addition to core English language classes, students can study Czech language and optional subjects to aid their adaptation to the new environment and facilitate the initial stage of university studies. The course includes 560 hours of English language instruction.
Students on this course are eligible to apply for a type D/VC/24 student visa with the possibility of part-time work during their studies.

Cultural program as part of the educational course
This course accepts students with an English proficiency level of at least A2/B1.
Upon registration, students undergo testing or are required to provide a certificate confirming their proficiency level.
The course focuses on English language acquisition with the goal of developing language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), enhancing communicative abilities, and the ability to navigate daily communication situations. Emphasis is placed on expanding vocabulary and the ability to express opinions independently. A mid-term (semester) exam takes place at the end of the winter semester.
The second part of the course aims to expand and reinforce knowledge in all aspects of language proficiency. Additionally, students will familiarize themselves with specialized vocabulary necessary for further studies at the university (reading, listening, analysis, and interpretation of specialized texts).
At the end of the course, a final exam is conducted, and upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of course completion.
The procedure for enrolling in the English preparatory course in Prague is as follows:
Send a scanned copy of your passport to the Prague Language Institute manager or fill out the course registration form.
Wait for us to prepare the contract for you.
Sign the contract.
Pay the first installment (900 euros).
Receive a document package for visa application!

Prague Language Institute located in the heart of Prague at the very center. Nearby is Wenceslas square, main train station, National Museum, shops and restaurants. You can get to us by tram or by metro.
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
