Course description

Taller Flamenco is offering a special new course: Todo Compás which combines Flamenco Dance / Technique / Guitar / Spanish with a special emphasis on compás.

Dancing to the sound of palmas (hand clapping) is one of the most beautiful parts of flamenco. Feeling these rythms in your body –creating them with your hands- will be an unforgettable experience.

Taller Flamenco is offering these combinations of Flamenco Dance / Tecnique + Compás & palmas, Guitar + Compás & palmas, and Spanish + Compás & palmas, for all students , beginners to advance, who wish to experience compás: the beating heart of flamenco.

The compás lessons are given in groups. Each basic family of palos –such as soleá, bulerías, tientos, seguiriyas…-will be covered. The goal is to enable all students to properly accompany the rythms of guitar and dance.

Taller Flamenco is a Flamenco & Spanish School founded in 1994 and located in La Macarena quarter, very close to the trendy and popular Alameda de Hercules area in Seville.

Taller Flamenco offers a variety of courses all the year round covering a range of levels from beginners to advance. Each course will be limited to 7 students per class, making the learning process a guarantee of success through more personalized teaching.

All our courses are taking place from Monday till Friday on a regular basis, and we close the school just three days during the whole year.

Every single teacher in Taller Flamenco is highly qualified and experienced enough to teach both Flamenco and Spanish as a foreign language.

As part of our services, we are proud to be able to arrange different kinds of accommodation, either in shared houses or private apartments, all within walking distance from the school and the city center.

Taller Flamenco is a blessing to have and a privilege to be able to attend. Classes, teachers, location, facilities, activities were all tip top excellent. This was a life time experience for me. My 7 weeks close to 60 hours with guitar teacher "Maestro" Lito Espinosa was absolutely amazing, Lito committed to my new challenge of never having played a guitar of any sorts with patience, friendship and a lot of great humor. Cajon and Palmas classes with teacher "Maestro" Jose were fabulous fun and rhythmic. Team Taller Flamenco organized several outings "Feria" being one this was an explosive experience as well as local Flamenco shows and gatherings I am very grateful for all these experiences. Thank you Eukene and Jose-Carlos for all your hard work and for organizing these festive outings they added much joy to my experience. Seville is a city of culture, music, dance, smiles, not much rest and happiness.
